Good for a big group

Best season Autumn nights only. Their calendar moves. A date on a blog is not a ticket. Read headlesshorseman.com.

Drive About 1 hr 45 min–2 hr 15 min

General guidance from Midtown to Ulster Park. It is an evening plan. Leave time to be early for your ticket.

Parking. On-site lots. Follow their staff. Do not park on Route 9W.

A seasonal haunted attraction on Route 9W. The town is Ulster Park, not West Park. Hayrides, houses, and a corn maze.

Worth knowing

  • Scream Pass

Their ticket pages sell a Scream Pass that lets you skip the regular attraction lines. The add-on price is not the same on every page of the site. Read the night you want before you pay.

  • Children’s Days

A night ticket is a different event from the toned-down afternoon.

  • Which night

Friday and Saturday evenings in October are extremely busy. Peak-price nights are October 23–25, 30, and 31.

With a group. They host groups and parties. Call ahead, because a walk-up group may not get in on a sold-out Saturday.

The short version

The gate address they publish is 778 Broadway, Route 9W, Ulster Park, NY 12487. The season is nights in the fall, plus separate daytime Children’s Days that they describe as toned down. The night show is a scare. The afternoon is the family hour.

Food nearby

Main Street Bistro, New Paltz

Their site mentions a tavern after the attractions. Do not count on that as dinner. Main Street Bistro, 59 Main Street in New Paltz, prints dinner Friday–Sunday 4:30–8 pm and breakfast most mornings except Tuesday.
