Crowd level: Mixed. Go early, or pick a weekday

Best season Year-round. Their site lists 7:00–19:00 most days and Tuesday until 22:00. The sauna world keeps shorter weekday hours.

A working thermal bath on the Buda side, near Margaret Bridge. People come to soak and swim. It is the quieter sibling of the Széchenyi postcard, not a secret.

Worth knowing

  • Closing

The official hours page says the cash desk closes one hour before the end, and asks you to leave the pools 20 minutes before close.

  • Sauna world

Weekdays the sauna world opens at 14:00. Weekends and holidays it follows the full bath hours. Ask at the desk that day about any sauna program. Do not assume a textile rule.

The short version

Lukács is a city thermal bath and swimming hall at Frankel Leó út 25–29. Bathing on these springs is older than the current ticket desk. The official site is the source for hours and tickets.
